Feedback from winter farmers market locations:

Droppers have been coming up with good amounts of feedback recently as they come rain or shine with their food scraps and donations to the Winter Farmers market location at Nat Bailey Stadium. We are noticing a trend of continued support for the program as we progress week by week which we thank you all for.

Some of the feedback noted recently are along the lines of:

“This has been a great program I really appreciate that a composting service is now provided in our area. However it’s quite problematic having the service only on saturdays especially in cases like mine where [composting days] have fallen on events such as christmas and new years.”

It is unfortunate planning that saturdays have fallen upon those two days at this time and though we would enjoy extending our dates beyond just saturday at this point in time we can only provide our services on saturdays. We do appreciate all the continued support though and are glad that we are able to provide our services!

“This is a great program and I come every week at this point but you don’t seem to have much advertising beyond the farmers market alone.”

At this point we do have other forms of advertising however leaflets, this blog, twitter, word of mouth. It would be great if you would speak to your friends and tell them about this program though because we are finding that there are those that would love to participate but simply are not aware such programs exist.

We continue to support feedback coming in and will make sure to take notes of all your comments :)

See you at the next winter farmers market - Mapris.
